We believe that every senior should be able to remain healthy, happy and at home.
Founded in 1991, Caring Senior Service has a long history of leadership in the home care industry. Jeff Salter, Founder and CEO, stills owns and operates Caring Senior Service locations today. If you are considering buying a senior care franchise with us, learn more about our story below.
At 20 years old, Founder and CEO, Jeff Salter, worked for a home health care company in Odessa, TX. He noticed that many seniors required help with daily tasks that the nurses and staff at the home health care company did not provide. Recognizing this gap in senior care, Jeff developed the concept for Caring Senior Service to help seniors stay in their own homes longer. "I noticed how the patients really enjoyed the time they got to spend with the caregivers," Salter says. "I knew there were plenty of seniors in the community who just needed help with basic things like meal preparation, errands and bathing."
Jeff opened his first office in 1991 in Odessa, TX. By 1994 he saw increasing demand for non-medical home care services, so he expanded his services across Texas. Over the next 10 years, Jeff worked tirelessly evolving Caring's unique system. He expanded into new markets, and each time, he tested the system for added scalability and quality focus. By 2001, Caring had 7 locations in Texas and 1 in Arizona by creating a business model that allowed him to successfully manage multiple locations over large distances.
In 2002, Jeff determined that the best way to expand the business throughout the US was through franchising, making it possible for you to buy a senior care franchise of your own. He knew that his proven home care business model could empower others to provide high-quality services to more individuals needing care in their homes and improve care options for more families. It is that focus on high-quality service leadership that has always been the #1 goal for Jeff and Caring Senior Service.
We believe that every senior should be able to remain healthy, happy and at home.
